Overview
A sense of nostalgia influences the meaning that is given to the object and often this might include comfort. "Retropia" is a combination of these effects. Through Retropia, I wanted to show how one overcomes the duress of such an unprecedented time while working or studying and how to accomplish one's goals in spite of such difficulties.
Styleframes
Pixel games are used to emphasize the past by creating a retro atmosphere of fun and playfulness. When they first see them, everyone knows pixel games started pretty long ago.
Main Challenge
The most challenging part was achieving the depth of the storyboard, but it was successful in conveying the message of "going back home."
Next Step
The story can be expanded to include other games and subjects that evoke nostalgia.
